Industrial WorkstationRack-mounted Workstation for Harsh Conditions A 4U, 19" rackmount computer, constructed with heavy-duty steel. It includes a highly efficient standard 450W ATX power supply that is UL, CSA, TUV, CE certified. It contains a cooling fan system and easy-to-maintain drive bays, capable of housing two half-height 3.5" disk drives, such as the included 1.44MB floppy drive, and three 5.25" drives such as the 16x DVD Burner, accessible from the front panel. The disk drives are protected from dirt, dust and other hazardous particles by a lockable front door panel. The motherboard is an Intel D945GNTL which utilizes the newest LGA775 socket and supports the Dual Core line of processors. Minimum specification includes a 3.0Ghz Intel Pentium 4 LGA775 Processor. Reliable Power for Demanding JobsA workstation with multiple hard drives, modern graphics cards and other ancilliary acquistion cards require high capacity power sources. Total 12V draw at start-up can reach 15 Amps with multiple drives. Few standard computers can supply this load. These workstations use a minimum 400 W output power supply. Interoperable and Expandable DesignThe workstation architecture is Intel-based and designed to include commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) components. This design philosophy is conducive to hardware compatibility and ease of upgrade. Additional options for upgrading RAM, video display, hard drive capacity and storage devices are available.
