MB-Monitor™Real-time Acquisition Monitoring for Multibeam Surveys Triton MB-Monitor™ is our latest real-time QC tool for monitoring acquisition operations during multibeam surveys. The application consists of three modules: IntelliMon™A simple UI attached to four statistical parameters for Along-Track Coverage, Effective Swath Width, Sound Velocity, and Rate of Change for both attitude and heading. If any of these parameters exceed user-defined thresholds, the UI panel changes from Green to Yellow to Red (dependent on the severity and duration of the bad data). Adjustments to survey conditions can be done immediately, ensuring better data throughout the survey. IntelliQC™Imagery and vector layers representative of the four statistical parameters listed above automatically loaded in TritonMap™ such that when a survey is completed the operators can quickly review the entire data set to identify holes or holidays in the survey coverage. IntelliTrak™An automatic line capability is included in TritonNav™ to adjust pre-planned survey lines based upon the actual conditions of the survey area. User defined criteria for overlap and swath width allow for lines to be adjusted at the end of each segment. Additionally, the lines can be modified according to the effective swath coverage measurement from the IntelliMon™ module. Although the Survey Monitor application is designed to operate in real time, it may also be used off-line to assess survey quality and to identify holidays in the coverage.
