1J=/2!89Appendix D Installing the Intelligent DigiBoard for Win95 DigiBoard Intelligent Serial Boards (PC/4e and PC/8e) Hardware Settings 1) Use settings for 0x300 (300 hex ) SW 1 ON SW 2 ON SW 3 OFF SW 4 ON ( ON position is towards the circuit board ) Software Driver Installation Drivers are supplied as an "*.exe" compressed file. This file is copied to an empty folder on the C: drive and exploded. This folder now contains the drivers necessary for WIN95. Note: Do Not Run Setup With Explorer open 1) Copy "*.exe" from floppy to an empty folder on C: drive (C:\Tmp ) 2) Explode files ( double click file from within Explorer ) 3) Open Control Panel > Add New Hardware 4) Click Next 5) Click No ( Do Not Search ) 6) Select Other devices 7) Click Next 8) Click Have Disk 9) Type path to exploded files (C:\Tmp) 10) Select board type Digi PC 4/e (64k) Digi PC 8/e (64k) 11) Click Next Continue to follow Windows prompts for default installion. Note: If the I/O address on the board and the WIN95 driver do not match you must change one or both settings. I/O address 0x300 works on all Isis systems.
