The installation is different if you already have Triton software on the computer you want to install ALL2XTF on.  If you do not have Triton software installed on you computer, execute all 4 steps below.  If you do already have Triton software on your computer, execute only steps 1, 3, and 4.

  1. Open the Triton Applications folder on the CD

  2. Open the Isis folder and install the Isis software by double-clicking on IsisMin.msi

  3. Open the Converter/All2TXF folder and double-click on setup.exe

  4. Copy the License file from the License file folder on the CD into the C:\Program Files\Triton Imaging, Inc\License Files folder

After the installation, to run the converter, first you must have a Triton dongle fitted to the computer.  To execute the program, click on Start/Programs/Triton Imaging Inc/ALL 2 XTF.

The dialog shown below will be displayed.  If the files are on a network drive, check the Network Optimize button.  This will cause the program to copy the files to a temporary folder on the local c: drive before converting them.  After conversion is complete, the XTF files will be copied to the network drive.

Select the .ALL files to be converted by using the Add Files button.  When all files to be converted have been added, press the Convert All Files button.  Overall progress of the set of files will be indicated in the top progress bar.  Progress on the conversion of each file will be shown in the lower progress bar.

When conversion is complete, the XTF files will be in the same folder as the source .ALL files with the same name as the .ALL files but with an XTF extension.  For each file created, a .LOG file will also be created that will show the number of type of records converted.
