SOFTWARE INSTALLATION

Supported operating systems: WindowsXP 32 and 64, Windows Vista 32 and 64, Windows 7 32 and 64.

 

Microsoft .NET must be installed on your system, get the latest (3.5 SP#1) from Microsoft

 

You will need a dongle and license file, your installation CD will contain your license, please look in the folder [Your License Files] on the CD

Triton applications:

 

To install double-click the file setup.exe or the .MSI file if there is no setup.exe 

 

If you install from the CD make sure you keep the CD available with the system.

Removing a damaged installation from your system:

 

In order to install an updated version you must remove the old version.

If the old installation becomes damaged you may have problems uninstalling (removing) the program from your system using Windows Add/Remove programs. 

If during the uninstall process you receive an error that prevents the operation from proceeding try this: 

 

  1. Close the program if it is running.

  2. Make sure you have a shortcut to the program either in the Windows start menu or on the desktop.

  3. Locate the folder on your system that has the files for the program you want to remove

  4. Delete the folder that contains the program files.

  5. Attempt to launch the program using its shortcut.

  6. Provided the original installation was done correctly Windows will re-install the program using the local copy of the programs .MSI file.

  7. Go back to Add/Remove Programs (or Programs and Features under Windows 7) and try to uninstall again.

  8. Under most conditions this method will be successful.
