Triton Imaging, Inc. Version 7.1.5 Software Release Notes

The following are the major enhancements and changes included in the July 2007 release of Triton Imaging software.

Triton Isis / SS-Logger

Interface for the Benthos 1625 sonar.

Improved handling of weighted Side Scan data from the Edgetech range of sonars.

Any serial data string can now be optionally be logged as ÒHigh SpeedÓ data.

TargetPro

TargetPro now reads the XTF file directly, reducing the load on the logging program (Isis or SS-Logger)

Usability has been improved; the number of mouse clicks to measure a Target has been reduced from 9 to 3. The method is now the same as for the older Target application.

User selectable image size. The user can now select true image dimensions in meters.

A meter bar can now be included in the exported image (TIFF, BMP etc.) for quick reference of the size of an object.

A filter has been introduced that improves the image quality when the sonar has a much higher pixel count across track than along track, this resulted in a ÒblockyÓ appearance.

Images enhanced with ELT can now be exported with the enhancements intact.

Readability improvements to the user interface.

Logging of Kilometer Posts (KP) in the SEGY file header where applicable.

Implementation of an Auto Delay feature that utilizes the serial data from an Echo Sounder to automatically adjust the Recording Delay.
