If you are using Internet Explorer (IE) version 5.x, you also will need to confirm that your IE browser has been configured to work with FTP sites:
1: Right-click on the IE desktop shortcut and select Properties.
2: Choose the Advanced tab and select the option Enable Folder View for FTP Sites.
3: Click Apply.
4: Click OK.
