Triton SB-Logger™ is our subbottom profiler and shallow seismic data acquisition and playback application incorporating years of experience in marine geophysics and state-of-the-art software development architecture. SB-Logger™ is included in the Isis® Offshore-SB product package.

The baseline application is designed for easy setup and operation, with numerous quality control features to ensure data acquisition is done right the first time. Triton SB-Logger features many advanced capabilities for real-time and off-line data review and analysis. These capabilities include a pause tool for on-line review of features while continuing to log data, a “scrubbing” tool for rapid scanning of a data files, an image capture tool for the export of profile sections as bitmap files, and a variety of optional filters designed to enhance imagery and improve interpretation results. The current version of SB-Logger™ will work under Microsoft Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7. Please note that analog data acquisition is currently only available for Windows XP.

Sonar Software Interface

Included with the purchase of SB-Logger is either an analog or digital sonar software interface for real time sonar control during data acquisition. Note that this is only a software interface and any hardware needed to connect to the sonar is not included.

Advanced Filtering

Triton SB-Logger™ has an advanced filtering module for enhancing the display of seismic data. Additional filters included in this module are:

 • Swell Filter

 • Horizontal Stacking

 • Bottom Tracking

These extra filters are included in the Isis Offshore-SB package.

Real-time printing module

The printing option of Triton SB-Logger ™ allows the on-line or off-line creation of hard copy records of the SBP or seismic data. A number of thermal printers are supported (EPC, Geoprinter/Alden, and ISYS), as well as any standard printer with a Windows driver (thereby allowing color printing). Options are available for a variety of annotations including Shot, Time, Position, and Event marks.
